Hand Quilted Repurposed Vintage Rust Canvas Jacket
This warm, one of a kind, quilted jacket is repurposed and remade from a vintage rust colours canvas shirt.
The original garment was completely deconstructed and remade with new layers. It features a machine quilted outer layer with interlining that sandwiches a layer of fine, but warm, autumn weight cotton wadding. 2 large concealed pockets have been stitched into the side seams and the chest patch pockets have been quilted and stitched back in place. All buttons and buttonholes are original.
Along with a couple of hand stitched patch repairs, the piece is finished off with rows of a hand quilted cross stitch in an off white embroidery thread, a process which takes many hours to complete.
The lining is repurposed off white linen and has 2 large patch pockets. As always, the garment is stamped to show it is a repurposed item.

Care
Spot treat stains, hand wash this piece at a low temperature and dry flat.
