REPURPOSED ITEMS

The re-making process starts with an un-making process. Garments are stripped back ready to be rebuilt with new additional layers of wadding, interlining and lining.

With cotton wadding sandwiched in the centre the new layers are machine quilted to reinforce and add warmth to each new product. Each item is re shaped, some are finished with hand quilting or embroidery.

Each piece requires its own unique journey from start to finish. Finished by hand with varying levels of repairs, unique combinations of repurposed textiles and stitch details each item, in form and size, is one of a kind.
