Hand Quilted Repurposed Levis Denim Jacket
This warm, one of a kind, quilted jacket is repurposed and remade by hand from a vintage Levis Denim Shirt.
The original garment was completely deconstructed and remade with new layers. It features a machine quilted outer layer with interlining that sandwiches a layer of fine, but warm, autumn weight cotton wadding. 2 large concealed pockets have been added to the side seams. Metal buttons and buttonholes are all original.
There are a couple of patch and embroidered repairs. The piece is finished off with rows of a hand quilted cross stitch in between the striped machine quilting in a contrast off white stitch, a process which takes many hours to complete.
The lining is repurposed from linen and has 2 large patch pockets. As always, the garment is stamped to show it is a repurposed item.

Care
Spot treat stains, hand wash this piece at a low temperature and dry flat.
