Hand Quilted Repurposed Levis Denim Jacket
This warm, one of a kind, quilted jacket is repurposed and remade by hand from a second hand Levis Engineered Denim Shirt.
The original garment was completely deconstructed and remade with new layers. It features a machine quilted outer layer with interlining that sandwiches a layer of fine, but warm, autumn weight cotton wadding. 2 large concealed pockets have been added into the side seams. Snap fastenings are all original and the chest pocket has been quilted and stitched back in place.
A couple of patch repairs have been made along with visible mending in a contrast stitch. The back seam running from wrist to wrist has been finished with a running hand quilted embroidery cross stitch.
The lining is repurposed from linen and has 2 large patch pockets. As always, the garment is stamped to show it is a repurposed item.

Care
Spot treat stains, hand wash this piece at a low temperature and dry flat.
